  • Inherited risk: Our approach is to identify genes relevant to common health conditions, and to identify high and low risk signatures for these conditions, using advanced statistics. Our approach effectively captures information on gene-gene interactions.
  • Individuals can match a high risk signature exactly. More often, they resemble the signature to some extent. Based on the level of resemblance, persons are assigned a level of inherited risk -- either very low, low, moderate or high. High risk persons have at least 25-fold higher risk compared to those at very low risk.
  • The example graph represents the frequency of inherited predisposition found in the general population -- very low, low, moderate and high. The percentiles are based on the level of risk in the population.
  • Your level of risk will be indicated as very low, low, moderate or high. In addition, a percentile score relative to the population are reported.
